It’s very buildable so if you just want a nice glow, apply it more sparingly. Go heavier with application if you want to be darker. I highly recommend getting a tanning mitt to avoid streaky hands. The mousse is light weight and goes on smooth. I have not tried it on my face, so I cannot comment on that. Put lotion on dry spots like elbows, knees, and ankles and the palms of your hands before applying. I used to work at a tanning salon and this is actually very comparable to what our professional spray tans looked like. It’s not orange or streaky. It’s easy to apply. It does not have a bronzer, so it will not stain your clothes or bedding. All self tanner has a smell.. this was tolerable. Once I showered, I did not smell it anymore. I prefer this over the pricier stuff I was buying from ulta! It’s more affordable too. I have decent color for a week after applying.
