I cleaned it and still didn't resolve the issue, so I bought this as a replacement and now have flames all around as intended. An inexpensive replacement for a 5-year old part that had simply worn out with use. NOTE: This part's connection to the valve has a mesh sleeve. The original does not. To replace the part you unscrew one screw, slide the old burner out and put the new one in, using a screw to anchor it. Of course, all of this is done when the grill is cold, and no propane is going to the grill. The whole fix took under 5 minutes. Anyone can do it, and the replacement part was 100% compatible, fit as expected, and functioned as it should. It feels as durable as the original and I expect it will work for another 2-4 years before needing to be replaced. NOTE: I will also be replacing the regulator with an upgraded version (part available on desertcart). I got my Q1200 in May of 2021 and I've noticed that over time, there is a low flame size and no way to increase it with the dial. Replacing the regulator should fix this issue.
