Quite a hefty little thing to has good amount of weight in it, not flimsy at all, Totally recommend for any dog they'lle love you for it ! :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beware of teething puppies *by G***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 June 2019* I was skeptical about getting this cool mat for our Keeshond. I got another brand and his claws went right through it so I wasn't holding out much hope. However, this is a very sturdy cool mat and fit my dog's crate nicely. He sprawls himself across it and it prevents him from getting too hot, I was surprised how effective it is. I can feel it getting warmer underneath him (not hot yet) so try to follow instructions about letting the mat cool back down, but it's certainly a good purchase. It is also easy to fold and transport.Unfortunately the mat didn't survive the wrath of my teething puppy. It's a lot of money to spend on something that can break with teeth so just be aware of this and always supervise closely. It was broken within seconds of me taking my eyes off him (he had stuff to chew on too!). My 13 years old, very arthritic dog has made daily use of it. She did not have to be goaded to it, she simply went to it, laid down and went to sleep. The gel greatly helps with her sore joints. She also has a memory foam bed however, with the recent hot weather, she much prefers the matt. All I have to do is "recharge" it every few hours by just placing it on the cool kitchen floor.
