Review: You think you know milk chocolate? - Ever since the US version of Cadbury Creme Eggs came were introduced in 1985, I had been a loyal addict for years upon years, being quite familiar with the wonderful flavor of Hershey's Chocolate used for the shell. I just happened to be scrolling through Easter specials and came upon *actually imported* from the originating country, the United Kingdom. My wife had been telling me for years how much better Cadbury milk chocolate was compared to the sweeter US types. And she has been to the UK twice, so I had no basis for comparison. I ordered a pack and they arrived yesterday. We popped them open a little after dinner. They're about the same size as the US eggs, which have gotten smaller (but more expensive) over the years. I took my first bite. I have had Hershey's, H.B. Reese's, M&M Mars, Godiva, Ghirardelli, Lindt and others I can't remember. I never once doubted my wife and her assessment was spot on. I can't describe the taste and smoothness of the chocolate using words, that would be an understatement. Suffice to say this is one of if not *the* best milk chocolate I may have ever had and the cream center was not runny and tasted almost homemade. I'll be ordering more before they're gone.
Review: Cadbury UK edges out US Hershey’s Cadbury - The chocolate is creamier than the Hershey’s licensed version in the US. The cream inside the egg is better tasting too IMO. Our version is sweeter but less creamy. It’s nice to taste the difference in these products from opposite sides of the pond. I love them both but I think I like the UK version made directly by Cadbury better.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these the same large sized eggs, or are they the small kind you find in the US?**
A: Same size as in the USA, smaller than an average chicken egg. Probably about similar size to a ping pong ball. Different ingredients than the USA eggs though

**Q: Are these from United Kingdom ?**
A: Yes, we ordered these Cadbury Creme Eggs and they came from the U.K.

**Q: how many individual eggs are there ?**
A: There are supposed to be 5 you will be lucky if 3 are safe to eat unless you order just the eggs.

**Q: What are the ingredients?**
A: I don't remember all the ingredients but I know the US version has high fructose corn syrup and the UK version does not

### ⭐ Every egg had melted at some point during transit—all are inedible.
*by S***E on May 6, 2026*

Each and every egg was deformed and leaking out of the foil. Not one of them was edible. I’m super disappointed because I love Cadbury Eggs when they are fresh, undamaged, and had never melted first. Apparently no returns are allowed, so this was a complete waste of $22.65. And I’m on a strict budget… I budgeted for this as a special annual treat. What a depressing experience.
