By the way, these were used on a 2200 pound camper (dry weight) with the customers added features, my tailgate and tonneau cover in the camper, the weight was around 2500-2600 pounds. These handled the weight nicely. Review: perfect... - I was alittle sceptical when I bought these. All the options for tie downs seemed to be so expensive I actually thought about selling my camper. I didnt wana spend $500 bucks so I decided to try these. SO glad I did! I have an 08 250 and they fit perfectly! They even fit over the plastic rail protector of my truck.They go on in no time really and have good holding power. I have a cabover that weighs 1400lbs (have weighed to before) and she doesnt move. We also have a boat so I was worried about when I back down the boat dock if they would still hold when its so steep, no problems. Althought if you do have a boat, I would recommend you get your bed lined with Linex like me or at least a cheap truck bed mat to make the camper grip more cause even though these are stong, they might tourqe your bed if your camper tries to fall back at such a steep angle like that. I was also worried about my truck rail width from the inside to the outside because 250s are alittle wider in the front of the bed. I measured the rail of my truck at the front and it was just under 5.5 in. The camper holddowns are 5.6 in so as long as your truck bed rail is narrower than that it would fit. Also one thing that it does not say in the description but that is in the directions in the box, is that you will have to drill holes if you have a truck with a double walled truck bed like a 350 dually. It also says in the directions that you need at LEAST 2in between the inside edge on the rail and the inside wall (pretty much you need a 2in truck bed rail) this is very important or the the triaglular clamp wont have enough space. But other than that they are so ajustable I can't see any other fitment issues for all other trucks. Great product Brophy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems like a solid product, but make SURE they will work for you. *by B***B on June 2, 2020* Bought in preparation for buying a slide in camper for 2nd gen Ram2500. Didn't know which one I would get and thought I would need tie downs anchors to get it home. Part 1 - Product : In terms of the product, they are super beefy and as long as the direction of pull is basically "up" without too much angle, I would say they would be great, although I am not sure of the load limits. No drilling...good! As others noted, if you don't have full access to the back side of this, it will be frustrating. I had to cut holes in my plastic bed liner to get the bottom support bar to contact the side of the bed properly and then it was very difficult to get to the nuts on the back unless I was willing to cut even larger access areas, which I did not want to do. They seem to have designed it to that square head bolts fit so snugly from the front so as not to require a wrench to hold them and then you turn the hex nuts from the back. Seems to me it would have been better to tack weld the nuts on the rear plate and allow the bolts to be tightened from the front. Part 2 - Fitment : I bought a used Hallmark Ute and when I went to pick it up at the dealer and these anchors were too wide to fit between the jacks by more than 4 inches (they were properly adjusted). Had to remove the anchors and use ratchet straps to secure it and get it home, which actually worked pretty well. My camper also had anchors at the jack mounting plates at the corners, so even if they were not too wide, these brackets couldn't really get out to the extreme corners of the long bed (8ft bed and 8ft camper). According to the dealer, this created undesirable angles at all 4 corners pulling toward the center and allowing the camper to bounce upwards while pulling the anchors at an angle. I would agree with this assessment in my particular case. Turns out that the Happy-Jac system was best for my setup. I did have to drill holes, but it is working well and puts the forces where I needed them. My headline about making sure they work for you is because the seller (Purely Powersports) was completely unwilling to help me in any way even though I contacted them within 30 days of ordering. I understand that even if I would have paid return shipping (UPS approx $55, with no ins and no sig), they would still have a "used" product with a few small scratches from installation and removal, but it was disappointing nonetheless to just have them say "Return window expired" and "used products are not eligible for return". I will probably just CL them and help someone else get a deal for what I paid minus what it would have cost to send them back.
