Millions of Osti cheese slicers have been sold over the years, which makes Osti a natural household name, and it is not uncommon to find a 25 year old slicer in a kitchen drawer. And we still need cheese slicers: hand-sliced cheese simply tastes better! The Osti Original cheese slicer remains the original, with its new simultaneously contemporary and classic redesign, respecting tradition and carefully updating even the smallest details. The Osti Original cheese slicer is made of high quality stainless steel and food-friendly polypropylene, and is built to last with replaceable slicing wires.Today, the next generation of Osti carries the tradition on. As always, Osti stands for function, quality, friendly styling and affordability. And Osti isn’t finished with the food world – keep an eye open for new products! Enjoy!THE DNA OF OstiWhen shaping the Osti products, we primarily work with two basic shapes: the classic propeller shaped handle, known from the Osti Original cheese slicers, and the more recent “OSTIllipse”, which is the shape of our logo. You will find traces of these two basic shapes in all our products.Take our non-stick cheese planer, for instance. In this popular product, the handle is propeller shaped, and the head is “OSTIlliptical”. The upcoming Osti can opener is simply constructed by a halved and a quarter “OSTIllipse”.The basic shapes of Osti always melt in with optimum functionality and the general design – in all our products. ## Features - Original replacement wires for the Osti Cheese slicers: Osti Original, Original Wood, 822 Steel and 832 Copper and others - High-quality Swedish Stainless steel for prolonged use - Tied end knots for mounting that stays mounted - Dishwasher safe - Danish Design, set of three wires in practical resealable slider pack for the kitchen drawer ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0093NYA6U | | Additional Features | Durable, Easy Clean | | Best Sellers Rank | #111,566 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #121 in Cheese Slicers | | Blade Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Round | | BladeLength | 23.5 centimeters | | Brand Name | Osti | | Color | Stainless Steel | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (836) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05701533100025 | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 26.38"L x 9.45"W x 8.27"H | | Item Weight | 0.01 kg | | Manufacture Year | 1963 | | Manufacturer | OSTI | | Manufacturer Part Number | OSTI-002 | | Material Type | Alloy Steel, Copper, Polypropylene, Stainless Steel, Wood | | Model Number | OSTI-002 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Product Care Instructions | Dishwasher Safe | | Recommended Uses For Product | Cheese | | UPC | 793842079623 | ## Product Details - **Blade Length:** 23.5 centimeters - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Osti - **Color:** Stainless Steel - **Item Weight:** 0.01 kg - **Material:** Alloy Steel, Copper, Polypropylene, Stainless Steel, Wood - **Product Care Instructions:** Dishwasher Safe - **Product Dimensions:** 26.38"L x 9.45"W x 8.27"H - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Cheese - **Special Feature:** Durable, Easy Clean ## Images ![Osti Original replacement wires for Osti Cheese slicers - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61-053ABrAL.jpg) ![Osti Original replacement wires for Osti Cheese slicers - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31QNXEp+U8L.jpg) ![Osti Original replacement wires for Osti Cheese slicers - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31xfPzknyiL.jpg) ![Osti Original replacement wires for Osti Cheese slicers - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/412cUV2pLJL.jpg) ![Osti Original replacement wires for Osti Cheese slicers - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/11U5xWtLdeL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are these wires approximately 12.5 cm long? I have a Oste-Mik Nr.4/25 teak cheese slicer21x14.5cm.** A: The wire is 25 cm long which, when doubled over to fit on the slicer, is a bit under 12 cm on each leg. Any difference between this and your measurement is most likely due to the knotted ends hidden below the holding notches, and the portion at the top where the wire crosses over the "fork". I believe these wires fit all Osti wire slicers. If you have any more questions, contact Osti directly. They are very helpful and friendly. **Q: What is the length of the wire?** A: I measure the wire at 9 5/8" plus a small amount due to springy curvature of the wire. The replacement wire fit our 30 year old Osti Cheese Slicer just fine in spite of the fact that the small plastic stand off at the tip of the slicer broke years ago. I haven't found a replacement for that small part. ## Frequently Bought Together - Osti Original replacement wires for Osti Cheese slicers - OSTI Original Stainless Steel Cheese Slicer with Durable Plastic Handle - Osti Original cheese cutter with black plastic handle and 3 replacement wires (Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/13864620-osti-original-replacement-wires-for-osti-cheese-slicers](https://www.desertcart.us/products/13864620-osti-original-replacement-wires-for-osti-cheese-slicers) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
