However, as some other s mentioned, aft er washing the lid is hard to close. I hand wash the outer shell and put the tray in the wash machine, top shelf. We have only used it a week and it is very hard to shut and lock. I would recommend Not putting the white tray in the washing machine. It is small but big enough for my 7 year old.
