Added length to the rudders so the motor can be shut off and there still is steerage til the boat coasts to a stop. Bonus is that the turning radius at speed is tighter. The build description in the plans are a challenge. Plenty of on-line references to fill in the gaps. Do not pick on the manufacturer- it’s made up in the wood quality. Sand Flat - Cover with 80 grit sand paper a straight and flat 1” x 4” x 12” board. This is the tool that deals with all of the hull angles. Follow the hull lines. Yes, the die cutting is not baby butt smooth - the pieces are flat and straight. Lightly sand edges before assembly. Sealed with epoxy that gives the final solid color a smooth fiberglass look. Review: Value - Built the swamp buggy. Time consuming but worth the effort.
