I put some pipe lagging over it which helped but it’s still annoying2) worse, the hinge itself has bent over the last 18 months of use so that the bench sags in the middle when horizontal and is a safety hazard as sooner or later i suspect it will shear.If the manufacturer can resolve the issue I’ll update the review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, padding is just right - not too ... *by J***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 August 2017* Pros:Good quality, padding is just right - not too soft but is supportive, frame is solid. Took about an hour to build it by myself. The finished product is unobtrusive in a corner of the living room. The mechanism to adjust the angle of incline uses a pin - which is a little fiddly at times - but is secure once the pin is in.Cons:The seat is a little crooked on mine compared with the backrest. It's only off by about 5 degrees but it's noticeable when viewed straight on. Seems to be a problem with the location of the holes in the actual padded seat, as the underlying frame looks straight and true.
