I also regularly throw them in the wash and dry on moderate heat--higher than permanent press--with no problems after doing this for a year. They look like they're going to last a long, long time. I have problems with light urinary incontinence; these do the trick. What I like best about them, however, is that I am not contributing to the plastic pollution strangling the planet. The product was an excellent idea! The only drawback for me is that my leakage tends to be slightly off center, which I've solved by using a safety pin to position the pad.
