The colors are bright, it's light and can be used in carseat and easy to bring. The black and white would've worked for younger baby, so I wish I had bought it sooner. Then color worked awesome as he began seeing colors at 3mo. Then he started chewing on it before anything else, not the teether part, but the you part. Now he is 6mo, loves the toy so much and it's still useful. Like, this toy is for every age of an infant stage.
