Review: Lasts a long time on a single charge - Its a great little light. It takes forever to charge up, but it also lasts a while without needing a charge. On average, I use it about 1hour everyday on maximum brightness and my last charge lasted 2weeks with 2battery bars left, so I could possibly have continued using it for another 1week or so. Its quite bright for its size, lights up a small room alright, comparable to a 20watt energy saver bulb. Not sure if the temperature reading is accurate, cus i've got nothing to compare it with. It keeps good time and I really like the warm light option and the fact that its got a battery level indicator. Cons: the controls are not very intuitive and need to be refined. for example, Just one button is used for both deeming and brightening, which presents an interesting problem; to brighten, you have to hold the button, however if you release the button before max brighteness you cannot brighten the lamp any further, cus if you press the button again, it starts deeming the lamp. Its hard to explain, but you'll notice the problem once you get it. That said, its not a deal breaker for me. I would buy again. Recommendation: The controls for deeming or brightening ought to be separated. would have liked to give this product a 4.5 star rating, but desertcart doesn't allow that and I can't justify a 5 star rating cus of the Con...so 4 stars is what this great little light gets! Update: 8 September 2022 Best rechargeable lamp I've ever owned! Got used to the controls. Battery capacity has not degraded noticeably despite using this lamp almost everyday since purchase (PS: I'm in a country with daily long blackouts). Lamp is still as bright as the first day I got it. Quite durable too - although the rubber flap for the charging port broke off. Updated to 5 Stars! I'm definitely going to buy again!

Its a great little light. It takes forever to charge up, but it also lasts a while without needing a charge. Solid, heavy apparently high quality efficient LED lantern with nice features. Battery seems to last. Nice to have time, temperature and battery strength display. Variable selectable brightness. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Got this because my son's Scout Troop uses them.

I'm Scoutmaster of the my son's Scouts BSA troop and when we joined the troop had an earlier version of these lamps. We just replaced those with this newer version (years of heavy use by teenagers and then sitting in a trailer for most of a year due to COVID wore the old ones out). I used one for a week long summer camp this year and not only did it provide good light, show me the time and temp, it also charged my phone several time before it needed recharging. When I got home from camp, I decided to get one for myself, and I'll probably get one for my son for Christmas. I have a lighter weight lamp that is rechargeable and claims to be able to charge a phone, but it's not well made IMO, it seems flimsy. My son used it on a Philmont trip and he said it was good for light but didn't charge his phone well (he used the phone to take pictures). This version is heavy compared to that and I'm sure there are some who would argue that for a long haul hike or a trek like my son did at Philmont it would be too much, but I think the added weight would be worth it as this model is build well, and holds a charge for a long time. I wouldn't worrying about it if it got dropped or something heavy dropped on it. Features I like: 1. You can adjust the brightness up or down. 2. Phone charging port. 3. The red and red flashing light. I can see using a few of these in a car's emergency kit to let people know you are broken down at night. 4. Time and temp on the LED display. 5. Long battery life. Cons: The only way to set this on a table is by setting it light down or on it's side. It would be nice to have the bottom flat with a removable clip to hang it with. This version pretty much is designed to be hung up.
