Review: Great deal, works perfectly on my 50mm (and 28mm) w/49mm threads - This hood works great on my 50mm f/2 lens, fits snugly, doesn't come loose, and is made of good quality metal. (No vignetting of course on a 50mm.) I also tried it on my Leica Q (28mm f/1.7 Summilux FF wide angle w/49mm thread) and no vignetting on that one either at any aperture. However it does vignette when I tried it on my 21mm f/2.8 so I think a shallower hood and/or barrel design would be better fitting on the wider lenses. Will buy again from this seller if needed. ## Features - WIDE COMPATIBILTY--The lens hood works with general camera lens with tread: Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Leica, Olympus, Petax, etc. the lens hood size is 43mm, works with lens marked with 43 or 43mm or ∅43mm. - CNC MACHINING-- The lens hood is made of lightweight aluminum alloy, and proceeded by CNC (Computer Numerical Control), high hardness material protects lens from warping, scratching, knocking. - OXIDATION TREATMENT-- The lens hood body was treated with metal oxidation, it looks matte & keep non--fading / Anti--fingerprint & resist acid and alkali & resist abrasion. - MATTE TREATMENT INSIDE--The lens hood surface inside is specially coated with black matte material to prevent from light reflection, improve image quality. - INCLUDING--1). 1*43mm lens hood, 2). 1*52mm lens cap, protects your lens from particle, dust, dirty, scratching and fingerprints. 3). 1*cleaning cloth, ultra gentle & safe & none scratching, It suits for lens & lens filter & camera LCD & glasses. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #83 in Camera Lens Caps | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 282 Reviews | ## Images ![43mm Lens Hood, Oxidation Matte Anti Reflective Treatment, Aluminum Alloy, with 1 * 52mm Lens Cap, Compatible with Sony/Canon/Nikon/Fuji etc >40mm Camera Lens - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/513Xu46ZoUL.jpg) ![43mm Lens Hood, Oxidation Matte Anti Reflective Treatment, Aluminum Alloy, with 1 * 52mm Lens Cap, Compatible with Sony/Canon/Nikon/Fuji etc >40mm Camera Lens - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gZ4YfYBpL.jpg) ![43mm Lens Hood, Oxidation Matte Anti Reflective Treatment, Aluminum Alloy, with 1 * 52mm Lens Cap, Compatible with Sony/Canon/Nikon/Fuji etc >40mm Camera Lens - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/5187oQrI5TL.jpg) ![43mm Lens Hood, Oxidation Matte Anti Reflective Treatment, Aluminum Alloy, with 1 * 52mm Lens Cap, Compatible with Sony/Canon/Nikon/Fuji etc >40mm Camera Lens - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Uh5gT+21L.jpg) ![43mm Lens Hood, Oxidation Matte Anti Reflective Treatment, Aluminum Alloy, with 1 * 52mm Lens Cap, Compatible with Sony/Canon/Nikon/Fuji etc >40mm Camera Lens - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Xx0CcgylL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works but *by J***N on July 8, 2026* No issues here. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great deal, works perfectly on my 50mm (and 28mm) w/49mm threads *by W***W on February 6, 2021* This hood works great on my 50mm f/2 lens, fits snugly, doesn't come loose, and is made of good quality metal. Protective lens cover clips on with a solid connection to the front. Threads seem smooth and accurate for an easy attachment and removal, when needed. Excellent value for the price paid. Can finally take my Panasonic HSC-SD5 camcorder out in the wild for some vintage HD footage that only a 3CCD sensor can capture so perfectly in an AVCHD format with the fantastic Leica Dicomar lens. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/136950052-43mm-lens-hood-oxidation-matte-anti-reflective-treatment-aluminum-alloy](https://www.desertcart.us/products/136950052-43mm-lens-hood-oxidation-matte-anti-reflective-treatment-aluminum-alloy) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
