## Description

Use Band-Aid Brand of First Aid Products Flexible Rolled Gauze to secure wound dressings, gauze pads, and nonstick pads in hard-to-bandage areas. This first aid medical gauze has a special, self adhesive Kling design, so it can secure to itself to stay in place, eliminating the need for tape. It also offers flexible protection that stretches and allows freedom of movement. Made with soft padding that provides instant absorption, the sterile gauze roll can also be used as a primary dressing. Plus, the low-linting design helps prevent irritation as it covers and protects your minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. 3-Inch Flexible Rolled Gauze makes a great addition to a first aid kit or wound care supplies.

Review: No spandex, nice and soft wrap. - Nice soft wrap for my leg(s), easy to use. I'm allergic to adhesives and Spandex and this wrap is very easy to tie in place.
Review: Pricey, but worth it - Works well. These are made from extremely soft high quality material, which doesn't feel itchy or uncomfortable at all, unlike like many other products of this type. Each roll is individually packaged. The shorter length of these is REALLY nice. For some reason everyone else seems to only churn out gauze rolls that are wayyyyy too long for many (most?) uses. Self-adhesion can be a little iffy, and given how stretchy this stuff is, I found I needed to use more tension than I initially thought I needed to in order to get a secure and adequately firm fit. With regards to fastening the end, while in theory I guess you could tuck it underneath a lower layer to secure it, I just used some medical tape to fasten the end instead. It's considerably more secure & reliable than the other method, and doesn't dig into my skin at all this way. Note that if you do this, the gauze at the end has a tendency to get ruined no matter how slow and careful you are about removing the tape (and that's only applicable if you can even manage to get the tape off at all!), although the gauze that the other end of the tape was fastened to has survived just fine. I ended up wrapping the ruined end under itself the first time I reused one, and then cutting it off entirely after failing to remove the tape following the second reuse. I intend to attempt to try to reuse it probably only one more time before I bin it. I think it should be generally feasible to get at least 1–2 reuses out of these, assuming of course that the gauze remains unsoiled and that there is no direct contact between the gauze and the wound. This makes the high price of these gauze rolls dramatically more palatable. Overall, I am quite pleased with these, and intend to continue using them despite the cost, as they're just so much better that I can't bear the thought of going back to the alternatives again at this point.

**Q: Are these gauze rolls 100% cotton?**
A: It says on the box that it's rayon/polyester blend. Hope that helps.

**Q: Does the gauze contain latex?**
A: According to the package the flexible gauze is made from a mixture of rayon and polyester. No mention of latex hopefully this helps you.

**Q: Is this fsa approved?**
A: First, let me state that I am a nurse, not a tax accountant.   From what I understand,  if you have a condition for which you are followed by a doctor who prescrbes rolled gauze to be used in treatment of said condition, one can include this item in your FSA.
Example:  If you have a wound (I.e.- ulcer, burn, surgical wound) that doctor states must be wrapped with this type of gauze roll, it can be covered in your HSA. Always best to consult with your tax consultant.
Even though you will be buying this valid medical supply "over-the-counter" from a supplier, as long as a doctor states the item in his treatment plan, it should be eligible for FSA.

**Q: Are these 100% cotton, if not what material?**
A: I'm not sure..and I have used my last one recently. It stretches a little which would lead me to believe that it is not 100% cotton.
