Review: My Cats devour this food - I have two cats and they LOVE this food! It’s primarily cut up chunks of trout that you can clearly see are real ingredients Here are the first six ingredients 1. Trout 2. Fish broth 3. Vegetable broth 4. Ocean fish 5. Dried egg whites I typically rotate cat food, which I’m sure some have mixed opinions on. However I wouldn’t want to eat the same thing forever and I’m sure my cats don’t want to either. With that being said, since I found this food it has been a staple in my rotation of food for the kitties, they get a can of Canyon River Taste of the Wild at least once a day (I feed three cans a day to each of my cats). I think that for the quality of food, the price is well worth it.

**Q: One description says 12 cans and the other says 24. Which is it? It's a great deal for 24, not so much for 12. My cat loves this stuff. Thanks!**
A: 1 case of 5 .5 ounce cans is 24

**Q: Has anyone noticed any improvement in cat's coat or other health indicators?**
A: I noticed a difference in my cats' coats and energy as soon as I started them on a wet food diet about a year ago (although it was not Taste of the Wild brand); their coats became much shinier and they had a lot more energy (more playful). They now eat Taste of the Wild and still maintain those healthy qualities.

**Q: How many cans do I get in one unit?**
A: I don't know. The cans come in two sizes. A large flat can and a small flat can. The one I see in the picture looks to be the small can. For my cat the small can is good for 2 servings. I feed one serving a day.

**Q: What style of food is this? Pate or chunk style in gravy, etc...???**
A: New formula seems to be a pate. I miss the old chunks in gravy.

My cats cleaned their plates when I served this up today I'm happy to report! One of them has food allergies, so I opted for this grain-free quality choice, which also is a unique protein source, so for them all to go for it as they have really rocks. The only issue is that one of my others had a mandablectomy due to a rare bone cancer and therefore has trouble grabbing certain sized morsels and unfortunately this wet food has just the small size he struggles with, so I had to cut them down so he could almost lap the food up and luckily my survivor cleaned his plate like a good boy! It's expensive food but you get what you pay for and knowing as all cat parents do that variety is the key to a happy eatting kitty, I will change up to another high quality food with hopefully a lower price point after this case is done and make a round back to this hit in the future.
