Word of warning: the item I received had a blade much shorter than it is shown and the twist of the angle is too far that it won't be useful as a sickle for small yard work. I'm using it as a root digger/cutter. **Q: is the cutting edge of the blade serrated?** A: The cutting edge is not serrated. It is slightly crescent shaped and very sharp. **Q: Will it work to remove weeds from in between pavers?** A: The blade is about 3" long. It is designed to slide under the soil and cut off the roots of the weeds. I guess you could use the point to get between pavers. **Q: How long is the blade lengh of this sickle?** A: About 5 inches ## Frequently Bought Together - Tomerry Japanese Gardening Weeding Sickle Nejiri Kama Sharp Steel Blade Made in Japan Traditional Craftsmanship - Japanese Weeding Sickle Very Sharp Edge Quick Work (Full Size) - Japanese Weeding Sickle Hoe, 17" Gardening Hand Weeder Nejiri Kama Blade Tool Digging and Cutting Weed Remover, High-Carbon Steel One-Piece Molding with Hard Wood Handle, Very Sharp Edge Quick Work --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/136054099-japanese-weeding-sickle-nejiri-kama-compact-12in-hand-weeder-tool](https://www.desertcart.us/products/136054099-japanese-weeding-sickle-nejiri-kama-compact-12in-hand-weeder-tool) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
