Very easy to put on, puppy just needs to step into the leg holes then it velcros and clips at the back. I ordered the size XS for my 13 week old chihuahua. I imagine for a younger/less chubby puppy the velcro bit would do up all the way, but for my puppy the velcro only reaches about halfway. This is not a huge issue as the nylon straps and buckle above the velcro still keep him very secure in it. I will likely order this again in a small when my puppy fully grows out of the XS.
