Which is it?** A: Very few trucks come with a 3 inch receiver to accept a 3 inch shank. I think that is a typo. My 2500HD has a 2.5 inch receiver. **Q: How do I get a replacement friction cone for this hitch? IO am 16 months in and it is severely worn out.** A: Go to Andersons website and contact their customer service. I have not needed any support yet, but I have read a few reviews in which they supplied customers a different material which lasts longer if you are pulling a lot of weight. **Q: does the ball have the collar around it or is this one the old style?** A: I purchased mine off Amazon a while ago, and it was the old style. I had some problems with it, and contacted Andersen and they sent me a new one right away. I’m not sure which style you’ll get if you order, but I do know Andersen’s support is top notch. **Q: Can I buy a 2” ball too and have the 2”5/16 and the 2” use the same shank?** A: Hello.
