**Q: Is this real leather, like from a cow (i.e. not the PU leather stuff)?**
A: Hi there,

All our leather is a by-product of the meat industry and comes from bulls that live disease-free and well-fed. Hope this helps!

**Q: Are the inner mechanisms made of plastic or a more durable material? I see lots of reviews about the inner mechanisms breaking.**
A: Hi Amazon Customer,

Thank you for your question, and we appreciate your interest in Ekster.

The Senate wallets' card slot/holder mechanism is made of fully-anodized aluminum for a sleeker look and smoother action. The aluminum card holder protects your cards against any RFID data theft and blocks out RFID signals.
