Plenty of organization with the three zippered front pockets of different sizes,, the biggest of which has spots for paper/files, a large pouch for a BP cuff and another pouch for a stethoscope, etc, As well as two velcro pouches on the side for misc items. there is 1 big main compartment which I LOVE that it is big enough for EVERYTHING I could want to bring.... I am an ER nurse working 12 hour shifts, and I can fit my lunch bag, a small snack bag with granola bars/fruit, a large water bottle AND coffee thermos, a light jacket, and still have some room to spare... and this is only the main compartment! The greatest part..... It has a hinged top- when you open it, there is a frame to the main compartment that keeps it standing upright and wide open... making it super easy to find things.... Unlike floppy/flexible bags that fold in on themselves, and you find things getting lost in a black-hole. I also love that it has a padded shoulder strap AND padded handles on top- that velcro together if need be. ---Those handles make a big difference! The bag I carried for years before this one I loved as well but it was solid black and not cute at all but got the job done. It just finally fell apart and needed to be replaced. So I was on the hunt. I looked all over and waited until I found just what I was looking for because I knew I would have it forever. THIS IS IT!!!!!! It is sturdy and well made. I love the fact that the opening is reinforced. All of the pockets are perfect for carrying all the "stuff" a floor nurse ends up needing. And there is no wasted space. Even the ends have little pockets on them. The only thing I don't like about it is the part on the handle that slides around. I guess it's supposed to make it more comfortable to carry on your shoulder but just ends up getting in the way. This is obviously a very minor drawback.
