Review: Nice style, useful - Looks nice, seems sturdy and stable, easy to assemble. Before I bought this, I read reviews about this (and similar items) that said it was difficult to put together. I think it's fine, as long as you pay attention and follow the directions. If you've assembled stuff like IKEA before - where you have to pay attention to details in the instructions - then you should have no problems putting this together. I originally bought this to use as a wine rack, but ended up needing it as a bookcase. Probably buy another one for wine. As for style, my wife hasn't complained about it yet, and she hates bookshelves and books, so I guess it's ok. The only downside to this style is that when you put books on it in the usual manner - spine out - then on the right side shelves, you see the back of the book. To see the front of the book, you'd have to have the spine on the inside - wasn't ago does that?!? It's fine if you have just one book on the shelf - like an oversized picture book - but I'll probably use the right hand side for wine. Which brings up an obvious element of this bookshelf; you don't need bookends, but you also can't put knick-knacks on it. Although speakers should fit just fine.

I’m using for my nightstand to hold books that I enjoy reading in bed. Perfect size, perfect height, perfect color for my mahogany wood. It’s doesn’t stand out against my furniture. Barely noticeable. I see the comments on negative reviews and want to seem helpful to other interested buyers considering this beautiful peace. Here are some tips: 1. Look at the diagram post on desertcart after the advertised photo to get an idea where you use with the assembly instructions. 2. Slow down, slow down! Pay attention to the diagram to see if the screw holes are pictured upward, to the side, or no screw holes which should tell you that the holes are facing downward. This will elongate you from taking apart and re-assembling! 3. Have a Philips screw driver it if you’re like me a screw drill on hand. 4. Big Deal: **ATTENTION*. There is a tiny Allen wrench in your kit used throughout the Assembly which the worst one I’ve ever used. I droooed maybe 20 times. It low quality. Thankfully I already purchased a set of Husky that I hand on hand to keep going because the Allen wrench became STRIPPED when I was almost finished and down to maybe 5 screws out of about 30 maybe in the pack. THIS WAS A PAIN but I kept my patience because I saw it coming together and it was beautiful. Stay with it. Buy you and Allen wrench set so it comes with that size. I shopped for the perfect bookshelf for my nightstand for years. I finally found the perfect one. Quality is perfect for my use! I love it! NOW FOR THISE INTERESTED IN YHE 9-tier Bookcase: IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO PUT A HOLE IN THE WALL TO SUPPORT THE BOOKCASE WITH HEAVY BOOKS ON IT, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. (Emphasis) If you don’t mount it to th wall the books will topple over. So it’s not the quality, it’s the installation. It’s a beautiful piece for the price. My only complain is they should send 2 Allen wrenches to get through the assembly since having only one to use causes stripping of the tip for the hex screws. I hope this helps someone. Yes it’s worth it if you take your time, drop everything and read FIRST! Then proceed with install while you monitor which directions the holes are showing in the book. I recommend this item and happy I purchased! Thanks!

**Q: Can i store towels on this?**
A: If you can store books, I don't see a reason why you can't store towels

**Q: Where was this product made?**
A: Can't really answer that, but from the quality, design and lack of stability,  I would say China. Nothing matched and it was an unbelievable POOR design.   I put it together per their horrible instructions and incorrect hardware. They provided sheet metal screws, not wood screws. The also designed it to screw into place in an impossible location.  It was not sturdy, whats-so-ever and I returned it within 1 hour.  I would not recommend buying this or even keeping it if someone gave it to you.  I was more afraid of it tumbling down and hurting my elderly mother.

**Q: Will this hold textbooks?**
A: Yes, it can hold textbooks. As long as the weight of the books does not exceed the carrying capacity of each shelf: 22 pounds (10 kg).

**Q: To seller/manufacturer - Is this available in greige color?**

Looks nice, seems sturdy and stable, easy to assemble. Before I bought this, I read reviews about this (and similar items) that said it was difficult to put together. I think it's fine, as long as you pay attention and follow the directions.
