G3 Review: Great for the money - Whenever anyone writes 'great for the money' you kind of think that it is not that good, but that is unfair. It is easy to assemble, easy to disassemble, easy to use and cuts thicker branches that a hedge. It is a little heavy when fully extended and you are in an awkward position and trying to maneuver around things .. so I would be happier if it were less than 1kg .. but you just have to stop, rest and continue. However it does do what I need it to do which is to trim trees into shape, cut off the tops and reach reach places I can not get to with a hand trimmer. The strap works well to assist in maneuverability and the angle options allow me to be standing further back (because something is in the way) and use the changing head angles to get a flat top.
