Once these get wet from the cuticle softener, they lose their rigidity and don't really serve their purpose. For this reason, they need to be cheap since they're disposable after a use. At 2.2¢ a piece, you really can't beat the price. It did take 22 days for these to arrive (I live in Florida and they came from Malaysia) but well worth the wait. I counted and inspected them all. The plastic pacaging they were in, inside the bubble wrapped envelope broke in transit but the sticks were still protected by the envelope. I did indeed have 100 and only one stick had a flas (pictured below). I am a professional nail tech. These are nice with the flat side. Also, they double as a pretty good dotter when the pointy end is butted down a bit. They are not as long as a conventional orange wood stick, and they take about 2 months to get here because they are coming from China.
