Review: Very Accurate Thermometer - This thermometer works great. I bought it to use in my RV refrigerator. It shows the temperature clearly and accurately. The numbers are large enough to read easily. I like that I can turn it off when not in use. This thermometer is well worth the money.
Review: Accuracy ? - Work ok. The problem with purchasing two is that you tend to put them side by side to check them out for accuracy and I found that they were 2.5 degrees different in there read outs. This seemed to be a lot to me. As far as I can see there is no way to adjust the temperature read out. They are good enough for home or rv frig use.

**Q: Do you leave it on all the time? Or only turn it on while you read the temperature? Wondering how long batteries last if on all the time.**
A: I leave on all the time - so the electronics are stabilized.  I've owned for about a year and all 4 units I got are still working fine.  Hope this helps!

**Q: How are you supposed to hang this? The inside of a fridge or freezer is not magnetic and the hook is on the wrong side to attach to any shelf.**
A: The Thermometer can be placed like a picture frame in the Refridgerator Shelf.  In the Frezer the Thermometer can be hanged sideways on one of the Grilled Shelfes. Yes it would be helpful if the Hanging part of the Thermometer had a Swivel., to face the Digital Reading Part up Front

**Q: Whart are the 4 colors**
A: Not sure I understand - 4 colors?  The units I got were 4 units, all are white with LCD displays.  Not aware of any "color" options.  Hope this helps.

**Q: How long does it retain min/max values? Some of these wipe them out every 24 hours.**
A: The min/max are retained until you manually reset them.

I really like how easy these were to set up. You simply press the power button, then press another button to toggle Celsius or Fahrenheit. There's a hook to hang it from something and a magnet on the back to attach to metal surfaces. Also comes with a mini screwdriver to remove the hook if needed. Seems fairly accurate within a few degrees. The screen is a good size and easily legible. Also really love how it shows the recorded high and low temperature, very handy for monitoring something like a fridge. Only issue is that both screens had some vertical scratches that aren't really visible unless held at an angle under bright light.
