## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this made from non GMO corn?**
A: If you can find allulose made from figs or the like you will find non-GMO ingredients. This one does not appear to be non-GMO. You will likely be paying more for the healthier ingredients. I avoid all corn syrup products, including allulose, even though my son is a type 1 diabetic (meaning his T cells destroyed the beta cells in his pancreas and his body no longer produces any insulin, unlike the insulin resistance of type 2 which is often controllable with diet and lifestyle changes). Being a T1D he is also more prone to a laundry list of other health issues; therefore, "round-up ready" and Bacillus thuringiensis corns are only asking for trouble. BT is poisonous to insects, supposedly not humans or "non-target" species. If you delve deep enough, however, you will find some rather eye-raising studies, the last one I read being from troops in the Middle East. Now, perhaps this lethal to some bacteria is "harmless" to others, but years of ingestion may well prove otherwise. It comes as no surprise to me that the USA has a slew of "gut" issues that weren't a problem half a century ago. Not all corn is GMO. Popcorn, for instance, is a different type of corn and therefore isn't genetically modified. Ninteen countries in Europe do not allow GMO corn to be grown, including France and Germany. Only 28 of 195 countries grow GM crops. USA, Brazil, and Argentina are the leading producers of GMO crops (not the healthiest of countries). Ecological ramifications aside (these crops are contaminating others, are one of the reasons the Amazon is suffering deforestation, so on), I will not go so far as to say all "GMOs" are "bad", but a corn designed to kill animals that eat it and withstand obscene amounts of herbicide certainly doesn't scream, "Eat me!" to health-conscious individuals. If you can't find allulose, erythritol is fairly easy to find as non-GMO. Stevia and monkfruit are good to mix with it to make your own sugar substitute as erythritol (like allulose) is not as sweet as sugar, wheras stevia and monkfruit are significantly sweeter. This combination also often negates the aftertaste you might find using only one of the above sweetners. Good luck in your perfect sweetner search! Don't be afraid to experiment a bit until you find what you like and are comfortable eating.

**Q: Is this 100% allulose? What does the ingredients label state?**
A: Our Allulose is 100% allulose. Thank you!

**Q: Does this melt like sugar when mixed in chocolate recipes? Or does it clump like erythritol?**
A: Our Allulose should behave much like regular table sugar and melt into your recipe. Thank you!

**Q: How sweet is this to compare to reg. sugar?**
A: Allulose is roughly 70% as sweet as regular table sugar. Thank you!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tastes great as a sugar replacement

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great to take on carnivore and keto won't spike your blood sugar
*by A***R on July 13, 2026*

Item as described. Good quality. Great value.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for Keto
*by R***S on December 14, 2021*

Con: Allulose isn't as sweet as I had anticipated and I'd guess that you need to increase the amount called for by about 25% to 30% to achieve the same sweetness levels as other keto sweetners. Pro: it's keto, low carb, leaves no aftertaste that I can detect, and doesn't have that "cooling" sensation that I get from erythritol. Having to add another quarter cup to a recipe is a small price. I generally have found that if I mix allulose with a monk fruit/erythritol blend, the result is phenomenal. People can't tell the difference in my recipes so it's a win!
