I paid around twenty and it works well. The pros: The fit is adjustable; easy to adjust, and stays on. The lenses are well made and very clear. One can "stack" lenses (more than one lens slot!) for higher magnification. The headband magnifier housing is well-made and sturdy. (Just remember to take it off before getting up from your workspace ... mine has survived a few klutz moments with no scarring, scratching, or breakage!). The LED is bright and (at least for me) points right where I need it, unlike a lot of headband LED lights I have. It does not have a lot of weight. My head does not feel weighed down wearing it for any length of time. The Cons: (OK, There really aren't any) I can see how poorly I painted the faces on the miniatures I made before I bought the magnifier. I had to buy a second magnifier because the first was such a great deal. (As I said, there really aren't any cons.) I admit I was skeptical. I have been putting off buying the magnifier. I WISH I had my Dad's desktop round engineer's one (with the ring light and the gooseneck lamp attachment, but those are at best twice the price (and the one he had is now around $150).
