Unless my son switches it off. **Q: Is it bright enough to read?** A: It would depend how close the light is to you. The white light is probably bright enough to read if not far away. The other colours less so. **Q: Breathing and flickering buttons on the remote and not sure what they are?** A: Dear friend, Thank you for your question, "Flickering mode" refers to the continuous looping(change) of lights of different colors. "Breathing mode" means that when different colors of light are played alternately, at the same time the brightness of the light gradually changes. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely vibrant nightlight. *by D***X on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2020* Loved this lovely night light, great price and easy to use. And it's rechargeable so no costly batteries. Soft lamp so no chance of breaking. Lovely vibrant colours to rotate or just have it on the plain light on dim or a little brighter. Lovely lamp. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Child loves it and works well *by E***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 January 2024* Good size to use as a night lamp and looks cute. Gives a lot of light for the size. The touch sensor can be tricky to manage, but the remote works really well. It's been charged once and has not needed recharging after a a few weeks so very happy with the battery life. We only use it for a couple of hours each night though. Still very happy with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Love this super cute light *by M***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 August 2020* The media could not be loaded.
