The troubleshooting section on the installation manual could be much better because it didn’t cover much at all. But I contacted customer support and at first I thought i would be in trouble because the person whom I spoke with didn’t know much about the product, nonetheless, she was very attentive and tried to help and she gave a number for their technician in the USA and he was able to walk me thru the set up process with a breeze. In just a few minutes I was up and running. I am not totally happy with some of the behavior the unit is presenting but given the fact that it was less than half of the price of a LCN replacement I can’t complain too much. As for longevity only time will tell! Hopefully it will be ok. Review: A very good unit! - I really like this unit for the price. It is well built and pretty easy to install. The hardest part of it is laying out the conduit for the power supply. The wireless switches are great, but for exterior doors I prefer the hardwired switches. Cold weather kills the batteries but nothing can be done about that. The remote key-ring remotes are a little small but they are very handy to have. The programming allows a personal touch for residents. The open; close and hold open time are adjustable. The instructions are not perfect but they do have very good tech support in the US. As an installer I can see myself being busy.
