I have ordered these several times, and only had two defective jars. The first was formed with a blemish in the glass that caused it to break, the second was just a chip on the rim that prevents it from sealing properly when canned, the jar is still useable for other things. These jars themselves are really nice with a cute design, and a great value. The two piece lids are the reason I almost docked a star. I am canning jam with them and around one in five don’t seal. I just buy a box of name brand canning lids and re process the unsealed ones and they seal right up.
