Thankfully I don't get bad ones (looks like a small pimple), but this one is already on it's way out in less than 12 hours after the third application. Look forward to trying this BEFORE it starts to swell above the skin, lemon balm and Zinc is the key here, I've never tried a product with this level of lemon balm, well worth my $20!8/22 UPDATE: This product dried it up and it fell off, almost as if it didn't happen, I will report back to this post if I can successfully stop one before it even decides to appear. So far so good. Mine have always been singular bumps and not the ones you see on Google images so bear in mind my results may be different than others!2nd update 9/26/2020: One tried to show up (wheat products trigger them), I felt it trying to form under my skin, not raised, just a tender spot, I immediately applied it, and did it two more times that day, it stopped it before it could even raise up, today is the 2nd day, I'll use it three times today. A little goes an extremely long way. I'll hopefully never have one pop up again!
