## Overview

The Celestion T5891 G12H-75 Creamback is a 12-inch, 75-watt replacement guitar speaker featuring a heavy 50oz ceramic magnet and 16-ohm impedance. It delivers the classic G12H tonal signature with enhanced power handling and a tighter low end, making it ideal for lead guitarists seeking a thick, articulate, and dynamic sound. With 100dB sensitivity and a frequency range of 70-5000Hz, it excels in 4x12 cabinets and modern amp setups, backed by a durable pressed steel chassis and a 2-year limited warranty.

## Description

Back in the late 60s, the G12H was created by fixing an 'H' type (heavy) magnet to the body of a G12M guitar speaker. Result: a speaker with more power and a different tonal balance: firmer bass and a more pronounced top end. So we added an 'H' magnet to the G12M-65 Cream back, create a speaker that delivers the sonic signature of a G12H combined with Cream back levels of power handling. The result is the G12H-75 Cream back. It delivers 75-watts of power handling with ease and has unmistakable G12H tone, with a tighter low end than the G12M-65 Cream back and a punchier, more dynamic high end. The H magnet brings additional focus, body and girth to the Cream back tone. It thickens single notes, resulting in a highly articulate, vocal character. These additional characteristics mean that the G12H-75 Cream back offers exceptional performance when used for lead guitar and sounds massive loaded into a 4 x 12 cab SPECIFICATIONS Power rating: 75W Nominal impedance: 16 ohms Sensitivity: 100 dB Frequency range: 75-5000

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ CELESTION T5891 G12H-75 Creamback 12 inch 75-watt Replacement Guitar Speaker - 16 Ohm
*by on Reviewed in the United States April 23, 2026*

Speaker got here early and sounds great!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Choice
*by on Reviewed in the United States February 9, 2026*

Installed it in my Peavey Classic 30 and it sounds so good. Still breaking it in but it already has a fuller, richer mid to low range as opposed to the harshness of the stock Blue Marvel (which isn't as bad as people say imo). Couldn't be happier.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My sound went from a squeaky, glassy to a professional Rock Star sound level in just 4 minutes.
*by on Reviewed in the United States June 27, 2025*

For years I had to learn to live with the squeaky, glassy sound of my Marshall DSL-40C, spending hours tweaking my multi-effects, trimming high-mids and highs to get it to sound decent. For clean acoustic sound it was good ...but who buy a Marshall to play only acoustic guitars?I finally realized I'd never paid attention to the speaker my combo came with, and decided to replace it with this Celestion 12H-75. I was finally able to achieve a professional sound, and that's even without adjusting the presets or the EQ. Even with the sound flat, it sounds 50 times better. If you're using a Celestion 12 Seventy, don't hesitate a minute longer; it's the best investment you could make. I can guarantee that no rock star would use this Seventy-80s piece of crap, haha.
