MORE! *by I***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2019* It's delicious, really, really delicious, and hardly any calories when a pint of this in regular ice cream with sugar and cream would be over 1060 calories and a month's worth of fat. I know some reviews complain that this is not "real cream", but it is billed as a non-dairy frozen dessert. I for one couldn't be more grateful for something so good to be so free of fat, empty calories, and cholesterol. Actually is said it all. But this product is very susceptible to thawing and that destroys the texture and flavor. It turns slushy and changed the taste. So, I have a bunch of this I can't even eat. And Amazon won't listen, they deliver thawed almost everytime. I've learned through trial and error, cookie shake and hint of mint are less sensitive. If I accidentally do eat or drink any food with dairy, I get a very upset digestive system. I have been craving ice cream but because of the spread of the virus in southern California, I have not been to a grocery store. I rely upon food being delivered by Amazon Fresh or other website sources. I did not like the taste of this ice cream. It was grainy and too salty. I have eaten lactose free ice cream from stores and websites that tasted like regular ice creams containing lactose. Like all specialty foods for people with special needs because of digestive problems, it is overpriced.
