If you're like me, you stumbled upon this item as a potential less expensive LED retrofit replacement for your power hogging pool light. Those housings are very tricky, and swap out typically is a big production. Therefore you don't have immediate access to understand if the socket will work until you turn off the electricity, pull out and disassemble the waterproof housing, in order to pluck out the bulb to see.
