She received pressure sores from her time in the hospital recently. At 91 years of age, she is very thin, so from lying in bed so much of the day received pressure sores, these bandages help cushion the sores preventing them from increasing and helped with their healing. The adhesive hold very well and if the bandage has been on for about 2 days, does not get gummy which helped when removing it as her thin skin tears easily. As long as the contact with the skin is good, the bandage is waterproof which helps as these bandages are pricey. I would recommend them bandages to anyone that needs cushioning for the wound. Review: Excellent wound coverage and absorbency - Used to treat a large foot wound with extensive drainage. This was the only bandage that worked and it worked beautifully. The adhesive margin is large so provides excellent holding and water resistance. The cushion is very thick in addition to being super absorbent so is provides cushioning protection as well.
