I am very pleased to say, I can get the full 1Gbps downlink from the Hub4 to the Orbi, back to the Netgear switch, and on to a 'consumer kit', seeing 984Mbps using speedtest on a mini pc. The third cable is going to yet another switch, d-link GO-SW-8G, which supplies my NAS. All switch ethernet links have a green LED indicating 1000M negotiation.
