Lightweight and built with durable steel, it pairs seamlessly with other DiMarzio pickups for a customizable, professional-grade sound experience.

## Description

The Air Norton™ was originally simply the Airbucker™ version of the Norton®. We thought he would be a distinctively-sounding bridge pickup for high gain amplifiers, but we soon discovered that he is also a radically neat neck pickup. The tone is deep and warm, but not mushy. It is hot but not distorted. It even has cool overtones, which is really unusual for a neck humbucker. The patented Air Norton™ magnetic structure reduces string pull, improving sustain and pick attack and dynamics are hugely controllable and expressive. Pair the Air Norton™ with an Air Zone™, The Tone Zone® or Steve's Special™ in the bridge position for a perfect blend of power and sound, or use an Air Norton™ in the bridge position with an Air Classic™ Bridge model in the neck position for a distinctive mid-output blues-rock sound.

Review: Impressive Sound Output - Quality and sound output is as expected. Perfectly pairs with the Tone Zone. Recommended pickups for an authentic rock tone.
Review: I bought Air zone not air Norton and the Air zone will make ur strats neck pickup sound like a Paul - I ordered the air zone and I freaking love it. Air zone and the tone zone 2 of best pickups ever made. I have a tone zone in 10 of 23 guitars I own and I completely love them. Put the air zone in 2 of my guitars in the neck position and their so warm and clear like making my RR1s sound like neck position in warmest les Paul custom. I love the duncon jazz neck too but way more love the Air zone. Get it you won't regret it

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pickup, not as dark as they say
*by B***L on January 14, 2026*

I put this in a 24 fret Ibanez S. It sounds really good - articulate and full. It also blends well with the Air Zone I have in the bridge. I get a little spank in the middle position. Rolling off the tone gets those smooth violin leads. I can also get a nice strong attack with the tone all the way up. It will stay in the guitar for sure.
