The frame is rigid and of a substantial build that will stand up to the wind. The top is amazing. The material allows some light to come through, but there is no heat from the UV light. The temperature is the same under the canopy as it is in the shade under the roof of my house. The canopy is easy to set up. The first time takes a little longer because you have to position the top and attach it to the frame, but the next time is easy. The canopy can be taken down in a minute and it can be stored in the bag without removing the top. the storage bag has a good zipper and is well engineered. The weight bags are easy to fill with rocks and they hold down the canopy well. It comes with string and stakes for tying the top of the canopy down during windy conditions. The top will not hold water because it has plenty of slope. It is a very sturdy canopy and well worth the money. It is the best canopy I have seen. I take it on roofs all of the time to work on refrigeration equipment and it keeps me from getting to hot being in the sun. I highly recommend it. With a hammerd steel finish it is heavy compared to the aluminum canopies the top fastened on the corners with Velcro in the middle there is a strap with a tensioner buckle to draw it up tight it has a truss top and a spring loaded ridge pole to keep the top tight i am not a fan of the anchor points on each leg there plastic with one small screw holding them in. Its a shame. That they did such a good job on the rest of the canopy and cheaped.
