So I had to use the lower plated as my guide (not the top plate as recommended). Apart from that it was completely hassle free. I bolted an SE200 foil on it and now the boat works like it should. Review: SESport CLIP - I had some doubt re whether SE Sport CLIP would stay connected to the motor but thankfully it did. It seems very solid. My only disappointment was that due to the shape of my 30 hp Mercury motor there is about a 1” gap between the motor and the slot in the Hydrofoil. I did not notice any forced spray coming through the gap so I am pleased with the purchase. The package was missing pieces. Also the bolts were not very strong, i broke off 3 different ones, and i didn't even torq them that much.
