It will be easier when it loosens up a bit (the canopy and the hip!) Had this baby in a monsoon storm with 60 mph wind gusts a few days ago (thought it was gonna pass us by). My first outdoor show! I had a table set up underneath it and a nice lady got under the canopy to twist it for me but I hadn't gotten my table out of the way first so the canopy was sitting on my table with the legs down all the way and I couldn't move either. I had to stand there and hold the canopy down and I felt myself being lifted off the ground! I was drenched and scared, but my canopy is perfect! No rips, tears or twisted legs! But me, Ill probably need therapy before the next show lolol! I had round anchor weights around the legs but I probably should have used the ones that came with it that you fill with sand or water. I didnt think I could handle that kind of weight and it really wouldn't have held it either. The guy next to me had a 10" canopy and his was destroyed - couldn't even get it in his truck it was so mangled. He had heftier weights than me and gave me one to help hold one leg down. The only comment I have is I wish this canopy was a little higher, maybe 6" or so. I had it outside in my yard and used the ropes and pegs the first time I set it up and we had 25mph winds that day and it never moved. BEST tent ever. The pop-up design is fantastic. I'm a 5'2" and was able to open and set it up by myself in less than 15 minutes. Love the umbrella-like opening and the easy height adjustments. I'm a summer vendor and needed sidewalls to close my tent at night and bought the Amazon ABCCANOPY sidewalls (for a Slant Leg Side Wall 10x10ft base/8x8ft top, White--4 Walls Only) which fit perfectly! So I had a secure, enclosed festival tent with sidewalls. All was perfect till teardown. When closing the tent to go home, one of the Velcro fasteners tore off. I braced for a high-cost replacement top. BUT to my amazement, when I called Eagle Peak Customer Service about repairing or replacing it, they sent me a BRAND NEW CANOPY TOP--no charge. I definitely made the right choice choosing this company. Great product AND great customer service!
