Had one like it fifty years ago .. this one is the same in all essentials and is still the one that's perfect for a back yard garden, even better now that I'm fifty years older. I live in an area of heavy clay so I've used a lot of peat and garden soil and Holy Cow and had a guy with a big gas tiller churn it all in to almost a foot deep and now I won't need anything but this little push cultivator in future. It is not designed to break ground like a big tiller, but once you get the initial tilling done this is all you'll need .. try making at least a couple of passes with it, shallow to begin, then deeper. It's very easy to maneuver so you can do wide row planting if you like. I don't know what the problem is with the comments about a wobbly wheel, just follow the diagram and that won't happen. I'm an 82 year old woman and put mine together by myself. .. it runs like a dream, far less effort than a push lawn mower.
