Review: Great product and effective - It works well to deter scratching. If you leave it on too long it'll bond to the surface though, making it difficult to remove. I left it on the couch for over a year. Don't do that
Review: Very sticky tape that seems to really work! - We have two eight-month old kittens who are pretty well behaved. One of them, however, is determined to jump up on our smooth-top stove and walk all over our silestone countertops. First, I tried some old Scat Mats that I had used for our first cats, but to no avail. Next I tried some aluminum foil on top the Scat Mats and even extended it beyond the mats, along with leaving things on the counter to take up extra space. Nope! Then I tried a spray that I bought that kept his sister off of my hanging plant. I thought it worked, until he appeared next to me as I was working at the sink. I can attest to how sticky this tape is since I came up with a pattern to use it more efficiently to cover a greater area. After removing the first tape, I tried doing it and ended up with more tape on me than on the counter! In my defense, it was late at night and I was really tired! I think it will work! I highly recommend this tape since it is the only thing, that has truly worked, along with my other methods, to keep this very determined kitten off of our countertops! I have even bought a second roll because I think I will need it for a long time.

The product is easy to use, it unfurls well and then the split down the middle of the back wrapper makes it easier to release the stickiness on the opposite side. It’s almost clear and very shiny so my cat is able to walk around where we’ve positioned it on the table. It’s not as thick as I’d like for quality but it’s overall pretty good for what it costs.
