Review: These hinges are magic - Put these on a "hidden" closet door and they work perfect. They have a slow closer bit closer tight. They are a little hard to install because they are stiff. However they are well built and been going strong for over a year now.

**Q: Can this hinge be used for countertop extension and lock into flat position?**
A: It will extend but it won't lock. You wouldn't be able to put anything heavy on it.

**Q: Will these work with a .5 inch thick door? Thank you.**
A: Wow I think they could but there is a lot of spring action so it takes force to open and close. They could come lose if there was a lot of daily use. You could add glue to the 3/8th screw. 
Nah I would not do it. Unless you can use machine screws and put a washer and nut on the opposite side?

**Q: i have a 2 inch thick door will this hinge work?**
A: Did it work? I’m wanting these to also do something at 2”

**Q: Can I use on an outside shed door weighing 100 lbs?**
A: I have 4 of them opening a secret bookcase that weighs close to 80lbs. I'm thinking of adding 2 more so i can put whatever on the bookcase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ No instructions but work really well

It would have been smart to test them out on something first but I was impatient and was able to squeeze inside an opening and position them on the inside to mark where to screw the holes, which worked out well. I got these because I particularly wanted a hinge that would lift the top clear of the frame since my top extends beyond the sides of the frame. These hinges worked well and they are kind of beautiful in the design of the mechanism. I also adjusted the one obvious screw to change the maximum angle and that shortened it up a bit so it stays more vertical and outs less strain in the shed when open. Not a slow close, be aware.
