Ruger makes other SP101 models that are a different calibre and are only 5 shots where you would need a different speedloader. You can also use speed-strips instead of a speedloader. They are actually faster to use and take up less space in your pocket. **Q: Has anyone checked if this works on the new ruger lcr 327?** A: I have the LCR 327, I removed the standard Hogue boot grips and replaced them with Hogue Tamer longer grips and everything works for me **Q: Will this work for taurus 38 special 856?** A: No!
