No longer os there a draft, or ants coming in as I have a dirt basement being in an older home in northeast pa, this is ant season here in the spring. They will still find a way up I'm sure. It just won't be there lol. Great product. Easy to clean when still wet. So if you make a mess or put it somewhere you didn't want it, simply wipe it up quick and it will all come up easily. If so, what kind of paint?** A: Yes any **Q: can this be painted over?** A: This is not a product that should be exposed such that they finish paint coat would be necessary. It should be used in the rafters and in areas you’re trying to fire block to prevent the spread of flames in an emergency situation.
