It's great tape with really good adhesion although I doubt that it will hold a plane together, commerical or private. **Q: I'm guessing this material does not stick to rubber well? (i'm trying to locate a clear tape that bonds well to natural rubber sheet.** A: As long as the adhesive is designed for natural rubber, it will work. I sell PSA for a living and we have many acrylic adhesives that work well with natural rubber, and many that don't. What makes natural rubber challenging are the oils that can leach out over time and attack adhesives. It's possible this will work, but honestly, you won't know until you try. **Q: Is this tape laser friendly?** A: No the tape doesn’t work on the laser cutter in melts the glue **Q: Can I use this to edge band wood veneer to plywood? Or do I need a thicker double sided tape?** A: This is very a good two-sided tape, but I have never seen double sided tape used for permanent veneer. I have always used contact cement.
