It works! I never plan enough ahead to bake potatoes in the oven so I put them in the microwave, and it's rare when I time it just right to not get the annoying hard corners. Or I have to put one at a time and play with the timing. With this I was able to put three potatoes in at once, and they came out perfect. I did have to put them in for 1 extra minute than the 4 it suggests, but at least it was all at once and no hard corners. That seems to work just fine with no damage to the bag or microwave. **Q: How do you clean these?** A: I put a clean potato in and take a clean cooked potato out I have not cleaned it. **Q: Other than cutting down the cooking time, does it produce skin equivalent to baking in standard oven?** A: No, the skin of the potato is not as crisp as it is from being baked in the oven. **Q: How long before you have to replace them?** A: If you take care and clean them regularly, indefinitely. I've had one for almost 5 years now. The ones I purchased on Amazon were Christmas 2020 gifts. That's how good this product is. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works! *by A***C on September 2, 2026* I'm always skeptical with these gadgets, but I thought for the price it was worth the shot.
