It takes awhile to brew a pot (8-10 min) but it is worth the wait!!Pros: superior flavor/quality of brew, gorgeous on my counter. These two pros far outweigh the consCons:-not intuitive to operate, read the manual! Some commands (like setting auto brew) require hitting two buttons at once-Wants me to run a lengthy water descaling cycle every couple weeks—I’ve started to ignore this but I have to look at a red flashing light...-handle on pot does not feel very solid. I’m worried it could break off with a heavy pot of coffee...-keep warm plate only stays on an hour. I need at least two hours, so I end up powering off and back on to reset the timer. Not a deal breaker but annoying.And despite the cons, I love my SMEG and would recommend it. Hopefully they can address a few of these items in a subsequent model.
