I did it too right and left a scar. I wish there was a way to screw/ wind right the pressure without needing to pull the Velcro straps tight. They fit under tight jeans if needed. I did physical therapy for almost a year on both of my knees. Had two rounds of steroid knee injections. These bands help me rehab my knee in comfort.
