The mounting neck at least 1.5 inches too short.** A: it wont fit on a 2" thick counter top. Mountain plumbing makes an adapter piece to add to this nipple to make it longer. Part number is MT600/ADPT **Q: Does this faucet have any lead? Is it designed for use also with Reverse Osmosis?** A: No lead. Probably handle any 1/4 line from any filter system. **Q: I experiencing a leak which I can't seem to fix. Water seems to be coming down the pipe rather than the connection. Anybody else have leaks?** A: ours used to leak out the top by the lever and we gave up on it and purchased a different one that has an actual on/of lever. **Q: What size hole do you need on the counter to install this?** A: Rosemarie, this fits into the typical hole size. I had a cast iron Kohler and it simply fit within. I small rubber washer went immediately below the spout, then a bezel, then another rubber washer to the sink porcelain (in my case). Can't remember what went on the bottom side. Buy this handle, you'll like it. The water pressure is velocity sensitive of the handle pressure.As I remember , it is has a good guarantee. I was squeemish because of the plastic handle, but that doesn't seem to be an issue. I only wish it stuck out just a wee bit further, but no regrets.
