    Nice Rod!  Double check what your choosing to buy with Penn

I received the correct rod.  I recommend looking at Penns website to cross reference the specs listed there with your purchase options on Amazon.  For example if you're looking for the 30-80 bent butt boat rod like I purchased, you must choose the 2 piece rod.  The single piece rod in the 30-80 is a conventional straight butt.  I would have made the wrong choice without checking Penns specs.

   I dislike that the bottom part of the handle is hard plastic and the butt of the rod doesn’t stay on. It actually left the factory not staying on but they sold it to me anyways. It’s a disappointment to say the least. The quality is what you would expect from a $50 rod. This one is just slightly too crumby for $100. I can’t believe it has a hard plastic handle. Lol.

If you are looking for a roller tipped rod.. THIS IS NOT IT even though the pictures show a roller tip AND the description reads "Feature both Fuji guides and Pac Bay rollers (Standup models)".Since NO stand up models are listed this feels like a bait and switch.. no pun intended. Are these descriptions and pictures not vetted?
